Does connecting a wallet reveal my recovery phrase?

No legitimate wallet connection should require your recovery phrase or private key. A dApp connection uses your public address and signature requests.

Why does the network matter?

Transactions and tokens exist on specific blockchain networks. A network mismatch can cause failed transactions, invisible balances or loss of funds.

Is WalletConnect the same as sending funds?

No. Connecting a wallet, approving token spending and signing a funding transaction are separate actions.
